Read Keywords Through Good Books | This Week: “Climate Change”
Dear Friends,
Hope you are having a great week.
This is China-ASEAN Observation, bringing you the latest hot topics in economy, business, and other related fields in the China-ASEAN region.Established by China International Communications Group (CICG), CHINA-ASEAN OBSERVATION is committed to promoting knowledge sharing and cross-cultural communications between China and ASEAN countries.
Recently, the topic of “climate change” has been prominent in the media. Singapore’s Lianhe Zaobao reported on March 4 that Singapore has designated 2026 as the “Year of Climate Adaptation,” mobilizing the government, public, and private sectors to jointly advance climate adaptation efforts. The focus will be on enhancing resilience to high temperatures and floods, strengthening water and food security, and releasing the country’s first national climate adaptation plan next year. Cambodia’s The Phnom Penh Post reported on March 6 that women are increasingly stepping into leadership roles in climate resilience, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable food systems. In line with this theme of climate change, we recommend a reference book that responds to global ecological concerns from a geographical perspective for interested readers.
